What is the innovation

A reliable mortar combined with a reliable adhesive agent. The use of a dentin/adamantine adhesive system is mandatory with Calibra. The use of Prime & Bond NT (adhesive in a bottle) is recommended. Other adhesive systems may be used at the discretion and responsibility of the dentist.

The most simplified bonding procedure: the combination of Prime & Bond NT adhesive with Self Cure Activator creates the simplest 2-bottle system that works effectively with the mortar in any form of polymerization.

Calibra’s bonding ability is equally effective whether it is operated as a photopolymer, dual polymerization or self-curing.

It releases fluoride for additional protection.

Eliminates the need for multiple powders in your practice. Eliminates the need for no more consults in your practice. It is available in 5 shades. Trial pastes in 5 shades that have an absolute colour match with the basic pastes facilitate the final choice of shade of the mortar. The trial pastes are water-soluble and are rinsed off after selecting the shade to be used in the bonding.

You can be assured that the shade of Calibra will remain after time exactly similar to the day it was applied. Calibra’s “Constant Tint” based chemistry guarantees that its shade will not change.

Excellent handling – choice of two fluidities

Calibra is a base-catalyst system in paste form, packaged in syringes for correct handling depending on the situation:

With Calibra High Viscosity High Viscosity Catalyst the mixture never flows out of the restoration during application. Highly stable High Flow Calibra® High Temperature Mixture is ideal for bonding inserts.

With the Calibra Regular Viscosity Regular Viscosity catalyst the mix has the right consistency for excellent crown and bridge bonding.

Calibra in both viscosities exhibits minimal thickness. It ensures excellent fit without elevating the occlusion and reduces the need for corrective adjustments.

Long-term durability

Calibra offers excellent mechanical properties. Compared to other mortars, Calibra gives excellent flexural strength. The result is increased durability of the restoration.

Research at a leading university proves that it takes more force to extract a crown bonded with Calibra than with another mortar.

Complete Kit, includes two cases:Case 1: 5 base syringes (2 g) in shades: light, medium, dark, transparent and opaque. 2 syringes of catalyst (2 g) of normal and high viscosity. 1 bottle of Prime & Bond (4.5 ml), 1 bottle of Self-Cure activator (4.5 ml), 1 syringe of Tooth Conditioner Gel (3 ml) and auxiliary equipment.

Cassette 2: 5 syringes of trial mortar (1,8 g) in shades: light, medium, dark, transparent and opaque. 1 syringe of silane agent (3 ml) and auxiliary equipment.

Operatory Kit:2 base syringes (2 g) in shades: light, transparent, transparent.

2 catalyst syringes (2 g) of normal and high viscosity.
